I enjoy food together with a cold beer or a glass of good wine - sharing the experience with interesting people. Food is a big part of most cultures and I like tasting new dishes/food including more exotic things - everything from snakes to rats and fried cockroaches. Basically - if the locals eat it, I eat it.

When I have kitchen facilities I like to cook after roaming around the local markets which is always a nice experience because it's a good opportunity to interact with the locals. Most often I cook for the people I stay with - until now no one has complained and to my knowledge nobody got ill or died.
