From Shonzhy I continued north on the highway. Though it was impossible to tell it was a highway since the first 30k was as horrible as the Kyrgyz roads - bumpy, potholed, rough and patched beyond recognision. And on top of that very busy with many aggressive drivers though not as bad as Kyrgyzstan. The next 10k got better - less busy and a better surface though I still had to look out for bumps and holes... | |||||
