After 20k and about half way down to the highway, I came across a small road leading directly northeast to Shonzhy saving me 60k. However, it came with a risk as it was 55k on unknown road surface. I took the chance and was rewarded - mostly a decent road, slightly downhill and a strong SW tailwind. I also had heavy rain the last 30k but it didn't matter with the tailwind....
