At 10 next morning, I asked to stay another night but the owner kept saying "wait". I knew it meant no, but stayed until 13 to do some practicalities. I asked again and he still said wait so I confronted him - "wait for what?". After a while, i got him to say it might be better to find another place but no reason. The Chinese are very bad at personal confrontations - they prefer to postpone than say no. Only if it's not related to them a straight no can occur. Just out of town I planned to go on G315 but it was all soft sand, so I stayed on the great semi-highway G3012... | |||||
