Finally at 8pm, I found a useful small forest growing on some abandoned terrasses 100m up from the road - tough carrying all the luggage but there was no alternative. I had only done 70k, but I was incredibly tired having climbed around 1,700 elevation metres in close to 40C and very high humidity....
