After getting water, I took a smaller road along a river were I camped in a small forest just off the road. I had been lucky to avoid the forecast thunderstorm of which there had been several recently - the soil was moist which meant swarms of mosquitoes. Not much fun covering up, but they were aggressive so there was no way around it - fortunately the temperature dropped to around 20-22C after sunset...
