He strongly recommended getting a new front wheel as the rim “bent” outwards when adding tire pressure entailing a risk of cracking. Having done 85,000k, I knew it was long overdue and though I had hoped it could make it to Denmark, i didn't want to risk it with many big mountains coming up. I changed the bottom bracket bearings and brake pads, hoping I will have no more serious problems before finishing in autumn 2017....
