Mid afternoon I arrived in Torbolo in the north eastern lake corner - also busy and touristic. I talked to an elderly German bike couple who recommended the bike path to Rovereto and all the way up the valley past Bolzano and Merano. My Swiss friends had done the same path  so I decided to give it a try...
