Not long before Bonifacio, we did another detour to camp. Lots of green areas on the map but it was either private land or very close to houses. We found a trail but it continued forever without possibility of camping except if entering stone fenced private land. It must have been the GR (grand randonee) 20, a long distance trail that traverses Corsica diagonally from north to south. Anyway, we camped close to the road where the stone fence had collapsed - likely private but un-used for a long time...
