Despite the good road, the rear wheel was very wobbly and I was nervous it would explode on the downhills doing 60-70k/k. I stopped at a gas station and unsuccessfully tried to rotate the tire and as another used tire was equally hopeless, I changed to the new foldable Continental tire, I had acquired from the French /Argentinian couple in Bishkek. The reason, I hadn't changed it before was a bad US-experience where a Continental tire only did 1,500k and expecting the fodable tire to do even less (more fragile), I wanted to get as close to Istanbul as possible before using it. Small conversations with locals and while fixing the bike, the tent dried.... | |||||
