The first 6k was about 5% average incline after which it became steeper the following 6k. It was very hot, so we were lucky that it became overcast as it got steeper. Heavy, dark clouds and rain in the distance, so Vincent insisted on camping early though it looked like we could avoid it. We found a nice camp spot by a small river and it was a nice evening as the rain never came....
