Saying goodbye to my kind host Ibrahim - unfortunately he asked to have my t-shirt, cap etc. which diluted the experience somewhat. Instead I paid him well for the fruit he had chipped in and took off. Uzbeks are "takers" like the Kyrgyz and along the way different people asked for e.g. my water, candy, soft drink.
