Nothing flat as I had been told - except 14k downhill, it was up all the way, so it was slow riding in the strong western headwind. The forecast had said wind from NW in the morning changing to N and NE during the day, however, it went from NW to W and SW so I could enjoy the headwind all day. The forecast also said sunny and 36C, so.....
