I descended 2,500 elevation metres (the most besides 4,000 elevation metres from Tibet to Nepal on another trip), so I kept thinking I had to inflate the tires not to get a flat tire. The power of thought - a flat rear tire. As I checked the pressure in the front tire it was fine, so the denser air must hve been offset by the increased temperature. And talking about temperature it was time to get out of the many layers of clothes that I had been wearing for weeks - now bike shorts, a t-shirt and sandals were sufficient... | |||||
