It was a seemingly endless long ascent and the road just got worse and worse as the hours passed - and this picture is taken in the beginning. From shorter sections of gravel/stones/rocks, it became the predominant surface with only 50-200 metres (poor) asfalt in between. I was puzzled where it came from as it was above the original pavement and too flat for landslides - my only guess was from the highway construction and then they didn't bother cleaning it up properly afterwards... | |||||
