The region is dominated by muslims and Chinese. After Muar I headed inland hoping the hills wouldn't be as steep as people had told me. As it turned out it would be another couple of days before the real rolling hills began - 6-10% was a challenge but as the hills were often only 4-500 metres it was manageable. And good exercise before the long climb up to Cameron Highlands at 1,500 metres elevation.... | |||||
