After 60k a pilot car pulled over - it was highway angel Shona. She gave me lots of food, water and even money even though I kept refusing it - she just threw it on the ground and took off. If I hadn't stopped her I think she would have given me her car. To no surprise she was Kiwi and not Aussie. A very nice experience - such generosity and compassion...
