After a second rainy day in the library I went back outside town to camp. I asked some people if I could camp on their "abandoned" (unkept) land but they offered I could sleep in a small ramshackle shed. We exchanged a few pleasantries but I'm not sure if they felt really comfortable with me - I don't want to sound ungrateful but why should I be in the shed when they had a big nice barn, no offer to come in for a drink, a shower, etc. Had it been in the USA I would have found somebody else, but in Australia I take the little I can get. | |||||
