Many Aussies had told me they are getting more selfish so I did an experiment having breakfast by my own table – despite more than 50 parents and more children only a few kids came over to address their curiosity so maybe people are right. In the US I was often invited in, offered snacks/drinks, etc. but here few besides bikers had been talkative and nobody has yet offered my anything – hopefully it’s going to change along the way.
