When I got my luggage the bike box was crushed - fortunately there was no immediate damage but it would take a test ride to tell. The claims guy would not admit any responsibility “I can’t tell if the box has been handled with care as I wasn’t there...” - well look at the box....! Neither would Alaskan Airlines would not take a report of potential damage.
