After some rest and a great time in Smithers I felt more invigorated and motivated to carry on. Also because I had improved chances of meeting people and be in better shape, a good weather forecast and a fairly short leg to my next stop Squamish... It was overcast but riding into Smithers it was one of the few times I could see the mountain range...
