By spending a week in Denali I thought I had improved my chances of a great experience, however the bad weather prevented that. It was still an experience but not the one I had hoped for - besides eliminating the views, the low hanging clouds and much downpour limited my hiking especially in the mornings and evenings which are the best times for encountering wildlife. But at least I was fortunate to see the mountains and some wildlife – most people only being there one day experienced nothing…. ..
