I had read, it might be difficult to get a bicycle ticket for the Channel Island, so I wanted to go on a Monday thinking it would be less busy. Consequently, I had 6 days for only 450k to Saint Malo and therefore planned a short day of about 55k. I slept/rested until 10.30 and left at 13 for another hot day....
