Early evening, I finally found a small path into a lovely open forest. It was overgrown with big thorn bushes, which I had to carry my stuff 100m through to reach the camp spot I had located. I had expected downhill and flattish riding so it had been a surprisingly tough day climbing 900-1,000m. No mosquitoes or flies but lots of annoying dogs barking nearby... | |||||
