In Barcelonette, I stocked up and had lunch in the shade under some trees. I had been told there was some nice riding south of town but it would have meant backtracking - either to Barcelonette or if continuing south to Nice, to Monaco and back.... So I rode east towards Borgo San Dalmazzo in Italy...
