Approaching Flüelen at the southern bank, a sign confimed that I could not have ridden Klausen Pass. My Swiss friends had told me not to come to Switzerland before May where the passes would be open - well not this year.; or not until the end of May. With unusual much late snow this spring, my timing was great (lucky) not having to wait for the main passes to be cleared e.g. Ofenpass and Julierpass...
