As I rode into Lorne after 85k it began to rain so I took cover under a BBQ shelter and waited. After 45 minutes - when it still rained - I noticed that it seemed to have stopped raining further down the coast, so I took the chance. I rode through town in pouring rain and a few kilometers out it was dry.
