Not thinking about helicopters (doing sightseeing and air lifting food to 5 day-hikers) I had put the tent in the open and when I returned from the lake I saw one hovering shortly over the tent before landing at the visitor center. I don't know if they saw it - and if so cared - but planning to stay many days I decided to move it 100 meters and set it up under some trees. As forecast the following day was rainy so took rest day reading and relaxing. Again I had to struggle with hundreds of leaches but fortunately they are relatively easy to spot as they constantly move.
