I already had zipper problems and after Karratha I began having problems getting the tent pole in. The only explanation possible was that the air was so dry that the tent shrunk. As I pulled hard to attach the pole the tent cloth broke off – fortunately it was dry so not a problem here, but I can’t use it anywhere else in the world. Typically, just after it broke the evening was the most windy with hours of +60 k/h winds....
