Riding 10-12 k/h into the 40-50 k/h headwind was hard work and no protection in the open landscape - and not very pleasant as I had to ride the very busy road because the shoulder was terrible. I had lunch in Roebourne and there was of course lots of water. I talked ½ hour to Greek Mike who spent his retirement working with the local aboriginals and he also offered me to join him on his radio show which (as always when asked) I politely declined....
