I had lunch and stocked up water in Caiguna just to realise that my frame was broken where the rear rack was attached. I can come upwith a 100 guesses of why but the bike has endured much worse conditions previously (e.g. road quality) so the only explanation is metal fatigue which means it could have happened anywhere and anytime...
