It was still hard frost when I got up at 8, and combined with the windchill it took over 2 hours to eat and pack, having to warm my frozen fingers every few minutes. I walked up the frozen dirt road to get water and petrol at the gas station before continuing down the road. Still around -5C with a strong headwind, it was freezing cold on hands and feet, so it was delightful to stop and spend 20 minutes in a small supermarket 10k later in Malkara, where I spent my last Lira... | |||||
