New tent and fixed air mattress was a luxury, though the new pump for my stove disappointingly didn't fit despite being the same brand. Because the guy in the bikeshop had messed around with my gears, I biked the day with my old wheel to avoid repetition of the "Singapore-event" where the chain overshot and broke 7-8 spokes on my new wheel. Having no problems during the day, it was still annoying constantly having to adjust the spokes, so I changed to my new wheel. I enjoyed the sunset while cooking and ate in the dark that already came around 18. After 115 hilly kilometres, it had been a great but tough first day, so I quickly fell asleep... | |||||
