In my momory the border to Georgia was at 400m elevation, so I felt confident it was the last pass - but no! 5k down, 5k up, 5k down and finally another 5k up to 2,200m. - strenuous work but great scenery. As I didn't descend, I began thinking the 400m elevation had to be at another border crossing...
