After unpacking, I biked in to town and found a travel agent who issued plane tickets to and from China. I could have done it myself but - unlike private persons - agents can cancel tickets without a fee making it cheaper if you can find an "honest" agent. I had read about prices ranging from USD 5-45, so I was very content when the first agent charged me USD 5 and it only took 10 minutes including copying of other documentation....
