The following day i walked around colonial downtown - a mix of new and old,  ramshackle and restored, etc. Here the old Minister's Office from the time the Brits ruled the country - incredible that such a big area in one of the most attractive downtown locations is left to fall apart. I guess it's a good symbol of foreign investments being on standby for decades during the military regime...
