From Johor Bahru I headed west towards Pontian on the west coast. I forgot to put on sunblock and with no shade on the highways, I got got sunburned. Also it was difficult to find a place to camp so i took a cheap hotel. Pleasant with a shower and aircon to cool my hot skin. Pretty happy with 90k the first day being completely out of shape, pushing a 100 kg bike...
