One of the last steep sections before Ulugqat that I finally reched at 15.45 after 8 hours. Here I spent 1½ hour finding immigration - 15 different police officers sent me in all directions but the right one until I randomly found it myself. I was a bit stressed because I knew the border was closing at 20 and I had to take a mandatory taxi 140k to the actiual border. I had read about thorough luggage checks, photo checks, etc. but arriving late there was little time to hassle me unlike Pavel who had been there 6 hours (partly because of a 3 hour lunch break). Inexplicably it still took 45 minuts to get the exit stamp...
