Most of the time the road followed the highway passing over countless times. According to my map, it was a main road but it was often so insignificant and of so poor quality that without the gps, I would never have guessed it was the way to go. Highways are off limit for bicycles so I had no choice, but why trucks and cars would pick this terrible road I never understood. Yes, they saved the toll but the extra time and fuel consumption as well as wear and tear surely didn't make it worth while... | |||||
