I left at 8.45 in slightly warmer weather than the day before. It took ½ hour to get 4k out of town partly because of the illogical road system and partly because my gps updated slowly which sent me on a couple of detours. The town was already bustling; interesting how they sell so much fruit when everything is so dry - I haven't experienced any irrigation so maybe it's imported though it seems a bit excessive with the water melons...?!
