In Turkmenabat it took more than an hour to change money and buy some softdrinks. It took a while to locate a bank and then it was closed for lunch. Luckily a local guy changed the money for me and also helped me get some clean drinking water in a shop (allegedly not all water was drinkable). I stocked up as it was a 200k desert ride to the next town...
