The first kilometres, it was sometimes possibe to ride short stretches on the old asphalt. This was particularly helpful on the 7-8% inclines and declines - uphill to get traction and downhill to be able to brake. When gravel and stones, I often walked the bike uphill and a few times downhill - I even had to walk it past the worst flat sections.... | |||||
