Mid afternoon I got caught in a thunderstorm with heavy rain. I tried to wait it out but it got too cold standing around so I continued. I discovered two broken spokes and as I couldn’t fix them in the bad weather, I had to camp even though it was early - a pity since I felt really good and had found a good climbing rhythm. A few short stops in the rain allowed me to pitch the tent, cook and eat as well as fix the broken spokes...
