I had 3 days to go the 300k (180 miles) to Carson City, so I planned to start late and see how far I would get towards Fallon. However, the big group got up at 4.30 and as expected were very noisy - I tried to sleep in but at 5.45 I gave up and got up... - leaving at 7 with a steep downhill to the first valley and a long ride across.....
