To avoid mice and other creatues eating their way into my tent during the night, I always store food in my waterproof bag and hang it from a tree. For the first time ever I experienced an animal (or maybe a big bird) chewing its way into my bag. The bag is quite robust so it takes sharp teeth and some endurance - maybe an iguana....
