It was only 4pm but ahead camping looked difficult, so camped at a lovely spot on top of some long abandoned border bunkers overlooking the river - so old and overgrown that it was easy to get tent pegs in. Behind some trees/bushes was a pull off, so a number of people came and went, but nobody noticed me and it was a peaceful place by the rippling river. Having descended to 650m, it was warm but the big trees offered shade and at night the temperature dropped to pleasant 17-18C.. | |||||
