It was the 13th patch on this tube so when pumping it the valve broke (not unusual after so much wear). I patched an old tube with a hole with a Kazakhstan patch and my new Iranian glue - unfortunately the patch didn't stick so I had to use yet another tube. From having 4 tubes and seemingly enough, it suddenly became critical with only 2 spare tubes left...
