I rode through a mix of countryside and towns - getting closer to Tehran, the road just got more and more busy. People however seemed slihgtly more relaxed and friendly with normal greetings e.g. a nod, a wave or a simple "welcome to Iran". The humidity stayed very high due to the extensive irrigation and getting close to the Caspian Sea...
