Unusual for China we only had two ½ hour food breaks and then a mysterious 3 hour break – just parked off the road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night - maybe the drivers needed a nap or maybe they wanted to cool down the engine - who knows? Nevertheless, I can’t see they can ever do it on time because we arrived in Xi’an at 15.00, six hours late so the trip ended up being 27 long hours....
