Everybody I met followed the conventional wisdom and rode west to east - and this day they were right. These 4 guys biked to Melbourne for charity and were very happy aiming for 200k exploiting their strong tailwind. Later I met their support vehicle where the guy gave me 10 liters of water - very kind. Earlier I had met a single Aussie girl also very happy about the wind.
